Delete your Lianayo account
This page explains how to delete your Lianayo account, from the Lianayo mobile app or from the website, and what happens to your data.
From the Lianayo app
- Open the Lianayo app and sign in.
- Go to the "Account" tab, then "My profile".
- At the bottom of the screen, tap "Delete my account".
- Choose a reason if you wish, confirm with your password, then tap "Request deletion".
From the website
- Sign in to your Lianayo account.
- Open "My account", then "Profile".
- At the bottom of the page, click "Delete my account".
- Confirm with your password, then click "Request deletion".
Without access to your account
If you can no longer sign in, write to us at contact@lianayo.com from your account's email address, or giving the phone number linked to it. We may ask for proof of identity to prevent impersonation. We reply within one month.
Do you manage a restaurant?
If you are the sole owner of an active restaurant on Lianayo, deletion is refused until the venue has been transferred or closed. Contact us at contact@lianayo.com
15 days to change your mind
Deletion is not immediate: it becomes permanent 15 days after your request. During that time, you can sign in again and cancel the request with the "Cancel deletion" button. After that, the account cannot be recovered.
What happens to your data
Deleted
- Your profile and personal information: name, email address, phone number, photo.
- Your favorite restaurants, your preferences and your search history.
- Your pending invitations and restaurant claims.
Anonymised
- Your published reviews and photos stay visible on restaurant pages, signed "Deleted user", without any link to you.
Kept for a limited time
- Your reservations: 3 years after the reservation date.
- Sign-in logs and technical data: 12 months at most.
- Your exchanges with our support team: 3 years after the last exchange.
After these periods, this data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
